A necklace, bracelet or pair of earrings can be the perfect way to make an outfit look complete and beautiful. Wearing these added charms and simple pieces, provide statements and good feelings.

Molly Brandt is the artist and creative mastermind behind her business Beadorable. Her pieces created from beads, silver, wiring, and much more are strung together to make something unique and utterly meaningful.

“Soul to soul connection, jewelry with meaning, that’s my tagline,” said Molly.

Molly grew up in Concord, Massachusetts and started out her business 17 years ago in Beverly, Massachusetts. Transitioning from teacher to mother, she discovered that it was time to pursue something more flexible. She wanted to start a business.

She explored different routes from working at her mother’s toyshop when she was younger and also using her educational experience to attempt starting a writing center or even tutor. Both ideas were great ones, yet it was still tricky to strive for, due to after school time and dedication, was with her children.

“During this time, it was trendy to have a mother’s bracelet. I was thinking, oh I can make a mother’s bracelet! I bought a ton of beads and decided, okay I think I’m starting a business,” said Molly.

Her first pieces of jewelry were used with buttons and pendants from her mother’s jackets. Her and her sister worked together to cut off the buttons when her mother passed and knew that, ‘we someday will use these.’ A piece she calls the ‘angel bracelet’ was to remind people that they are never alone, and people are always watching over you. This was a beautiful way to convey meaning and beauty in art.

Being a mother, and also using her mother as a muse inspired her to continue this creative journey. She kept going because she enjoyed it so much. Soon enough, her business took off having her travel to New Jersey for some time to begin parts of her business and then finally landing in good old Concord, New Hampshire. How ironic!

Both her and her family were able to settle in, embracing what the state had to offer. Molly found herself placing her jewelry pieces in local stores such as Polkadots first, then settling in Indigo Blues located in Contoocook, New Hampshire and in a second store now in Concord.

“I have been connected to stores my entire life. I do a lot in boutique shows and art shows in Boston,” said Molly.

Molly does have a studio located in downtown Concord, which is a space for her to create and connect with her work in a peaceful state of mind. She explains that she enjoys going to shows because she can meet people and be in that desire to share stories and tell a little bit more.

“My space is a space for me to really connect with people,” said Molly. “I can sit and make things for people and give them an experience rather than shopping time.”

About four or five times a year, Molly will host art openings with her jewelry on display. Something she enjoys during these events is working with the artists to make sure work is placed in certain areas based on thoughts, colors and contextuality. These events were fun and gave much purpose to her work and lifestyle.

She finds that her jewelry is changing lives and also keeping people mindful. She creates lots of special bracelets over the years for families and friends and it truly touches everyone.

“I love jewelry with meaning and enjoy making pieces for somebody whether it is for somebody who lost someone or needs it for someone else,” said Molly.

She finds herself constantly creating ideas and pulling together silver pieces and beads to create work that is ‘simple but sophisticated’. An idea up her sleeve that she is waiting to tackle and release, is working more with color. She explains that color has meaning, so it would be great to create a line with more universal meaning.

Her and her neighbor, Meghan Burns (an artist), are creating a line of jewelry using the art and coloring as a background to insert in belt buckles and other pieces.

“Art is at the intersection of style and life,” said Molly.

Molly has grown up embracing herself around mindfulness, positivity and centering herself in her work with what the world has to offer. She is striving to add a touch of enlightenment to Concord, New Hampshire and throughout the state.

I personally, own many of her pieces and they each release a feel-good vibe through the personable work she did to create simple touches of enjoyment. I recommend to anyone looking to find a gift to spread love and joy, to check out her jewelry and stay up to date to what is to come.
